A. James Dearlove has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer since May 1996, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of PVG GP, LLC, the general partner of Penn Virginia GP Holdings, L.P. since September 2006, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Penn Virginia Resource GP, LLC since July 2001, our President and Chief Operating Officer from 1994 to 1996, our Senior Vice President from 1992 to 1994 and our Vice President from 1986 to 1992. Mr. Dearlove also serves as a director of the National Council of Coal Lessors. |

Frank A. Pici
Frank A. Pici has served as our Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since September 2001. Mr. Pici has also served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and as a director of PVG GP, LLC since September 2006 and as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and as a director of Penn Virginia Resource GP, LLC since September 2001 and October 2002. From 1996 to 2001, Mr. Pici served as Vice President—Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Mariner Energy, Inc. a Houston, Texas-based oil and gas exploration and production company, where he managed all financial aspects, including accounting, tax, finance, banking, investor relations, planning and budgeting and information technology. From 1994 to 1996, Mr. Pici served as Corporate Controller of Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation or “Cabot,” an oil and gas exploration and production company. |

H. Baird Whitehead
H. Baird Whitehead has served as our Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since February 2009, after serving as our Executive Vice President since January 2001. He also has served as President of Penn Virginia Oil & Gas Corporation since January 2001. From 1980 to 2001, Mr. Whitehead served in various management and engineering positions with Cabot, including most recently Senior Vice President overseeing its drilling, production and exploration activity in the Appalachian, Rocky Mountain, Mid-Continent and Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast areas. From 1972 to 1980, Mr. Whitehead held various engineering and supervisory positions with Texaco and Columbia Gas Transmission. |

Nancy M. Snyder
Nancy M. Snyder has served as our Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer since May 2008, as our Executive Vice President from May 2006 to May 2008, as our Senior Vice President from February 2003 to May 2006, as our Vice President from December 2000 to February 2003 and as our General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since 1997. Ms. Snyder has also served as Vice President and General Counsel and as a director of PVG GP, LLC since September 2006 and as Vice President and General Counsel and as a director of Penn Virginia Resource GP, LLC since July 2001. From 1993 to 1997, Ms. Snyder was a solo practitioner representing clients generally in connection with mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. From 1990 to 1993, Ms. Snyder served as general counsel to Nan Duskin, Inc. and its affiliated companies, which were in the businesses of women’s retail fashion and real estate. From 1983 to 1989, Ms. Snyder was an associate at the law firm of Duane Morris LLP, where she practiced securities, banking and general corporate law. |

Keith D. Horton
Keith D. Horton has served as our Executive Vice President since December 2000, Co-President and Chief Operating Officer - Coal of Penn Virginia Resource GP, LLC since June 2006, President and Chief Operating Officer of Penn Virginia Resource GP, LLC from July 2001 to June 2006, President of Penn Virginia Operating Co., LLC since September 2001, our Vice President - Eastern Operations from February 1999 to December 2000, our Vice President from February 1996 to February 1999, President of Penn Virginia Coal Company from February 1996 to October 2001, Vice President of Penn Virginia Coal Company from March 1994 to February 1996, Vice President from January 1990 to December 1998 and Manager, Coal Operations from July 1982 to December 1989 of Penn Virginia Resources Corporation. Mr. Horton serves as a director of the Virginia Mining Association, the Powell River Project and the Eastern Coal Council. |

Ronald K. Page
Ronald K. Page has served as our Vice President since May 2005 and as our Vice President, Corporate Development from July 2003 to May 2005. Mr. Page has also served as Co-President and Chief Operating Officer—Midstream of Penn Virginia Resource GP, LLC since May 2006 and as Vice President, Corporate Development of Penn Virginia Resource GP, LLC from July 2003 to May 2006. Mr. Page has also served as President of PVR Midstream LLC since January 2005. From January 1998 to May 2003, Mr. Page served in various positions with El Paso Field Services Company, including Vice President of Commercial Operations—Texas Pipelines and Processing from 2001 to 2003, Vice President of Business Development from 2000 to 2001 and Director of Business Development from 1999 to 2000. From October 1995 through December 1997, Mr. Page served as Vice President of Business Development of TPC Corporation (formerly Texas Power Corporation). For 17 years prior to 1995, Mr. Page served in various positions at Seagull Energy Corporation, including as Vice President of Operations at Seagull’s Enstar Natural Gas Company, Vice President of Pipelines and Marketing and Manager of Engineering. |

Forrest W. McNair
Forrest W. McNair has served as our Vice President and Controller since May 2005, Vice President and Controller of PVG GP, LLC since September 2006 and as Vice President and Controller of Penn Virginia Resource GP, LLC since October 2001. He has served as our financial reporting manager from September 1998 to October 2001. From May 1997 to September 1998, Mr. McNair was a manager, special projects, and was involved in corporate planning and acquisitions with Southwest Royalties, Inc., a company which primarily deals in oil and gas and real estate, and has a well servicing company. From 1988 to May 1997, Mr. McNair was employed by Decosimo and Company, LLP, a public accounting firm and served as a manager of such company, primarily concentrating in the energy and real estate industries, from 1996 until 1997. |

Dana G. Wright
Dana G Wright has served as Vice President of Planning since May 2005 and as our Controller from July 2002 to April 2005. Prior to joining Penn Virginia in July 2002, he was employed for 26 years with Atlantic Richfield Company, and most recently with its publicly traded subsidiary, Vastar Resources, Inc. During that time, he held a variety of financial, accounting and treasury related positions. |

Steven A. Hartman
Steven A. Hartman has served as our Vice President and Treasurer since July 2006, our Assistant Treasurer and Treasury Manager from September 2004 to July 2006 and our Manager, Corporate Development from August 2003 to September 2004. Prior to joining Penn Virginia in August 2003, he was employed by El Paso Corporation, and most recently with its publicly traded spin-off, GulfTerra Energy Partners, L.P. in a variety of financial and corporate development related positions. |
