PVA is an independent oil and gas company engaged primarily in the development, exploration and production of natural gas and oil in various domestic onshore regions including Texas, Appalachia, the Mid-Continent and Mississippi. Our corporate headquarters is located in Radnor, PA, with regional offices located in Houston and Canonsburg, PA.
As of December 31, 2010, we had proved natural gas and oil reserves of approximately 942 Bcfe, of which 79% were natural gas and 53% were proved developed. In the third quarter of 2011, we produced 11.9 Bcfe, or approximately 130 MMcfe per day, 67% of which was natural gas and 33% of which was crude oil and natural gas liquids (NGLs). We expect an increasing oil and NGL component in our proved reserves and production over the next few years due to our recent shift to drilling liquids rich play types, primarily in the Eagle Ford Shale, East Texas and the Mid-Continent.
Our operations include both conventional and unconventional developmental drilling opportunities, as well as some exploratory prospects. We believe our emerging presence in several key plays positions us for meaningful growth over the next several years.
